Nähen-/ Redesignkurs - Rigaer 105 (English below)
Wann?
Dienstag 20 april - 16 uhr los - und endet mit vokü um 20 uhr.
Mittwoch 21 april - 16 uhr los - und endet mit vokü um 20 uhr.

Was zu mitnehmen?
Ein Kleidungsstuck, eine Tasche, dass du veränderen willst.. oder einfach Stoffe und sonstige Material ist auch gut.
Wir werden faden, nadeln, und ein paar nahmaschine habe.. und auch ein bisschen Material, aber hauptsächtlich muss man was mitbringen,
evt. tauschen!:)

Muss man nahen können?
Neee! Zum Anfang machen wir ein bisschen "nähen lernen", und alle kann wenn sie wollen.
Man hat auch die Chance zu üben, vor man erst mit den Kleidungstücke anfängt...

Und dann,.. was ist eigentlich redesign?
Redesign ist ja eine englische Leihenwort und ist halt Kleider umnähen!
Kann was einfaches sein, wie eine Hosenbein kürzer machen, oder was ganz anderes, mehrere Kleidungsstücke kombineren, oder einfach Knöpfe tauschen!!

Sewing/Redesign course in Rigaer 105
When?
Tuesday 20th April: starts at 4, ends with Vokü at 8.
wednesday 21st April: starts at 4, ends with Vokü at 8.

What to bring?
clothing, a bag, etc., which you want to change... or just fabric and other material is also okay.
We'll have thread, needles and a couple of sewing machines... also a bit of material, but essentially the point is to bring something with you, maybe also swap with others.

Do you have to be able to sew?
Noooooooo! At the start we'll do a bit of "learning to sew", and everyone can if they really want to!
There will also be a chance to practice before starting with items of clothing.

So... what is Redesign anyway?
It's a word borrowed from English, meaning to change clothes by sewing.
Could be something simple, like shortening a trouser leg, or something completely different, like sewing various pieces of clothing together, or just swapping buttons around.

Liebe Teehausfreunde,

Im Gegensatz zu was ihr vielleicht gehört habt, den Teehausprojekt in Rigaer Strasse 105 ist immer noch da. Es stimmt, dass wir eine Nachmieter suchen, damit wir ausziehen können, aber bis dahin, das Teehaus geht weiter, möglicherweise bis zum Ende Oktober, den Vertragsablaufdatum.

Deshalb, haben wir zwei Anfragen für Euch.

Zuerst, wenn ihr Räumlichkeiten mieten wollt, und daran interessiert unseren zu übernehmen seid, bitte kontaktiert uns bei diesem e-mail Addresse (rigaer105@gmail.com). Wenn ihr jemand andere die was sucht kennt, schickt gerne unseren Kontakt weiter. Die Räumlichkeiten sind 154m² (Grundriss anliegend). Weiteren Details kriegt ihr auf Anfrage.

Zweitens, Rigaer 105 hat immer versucht ein offenes Ort zu sein, für Leute die hier teilnehmen wollen, und damit mehr involviert hier werden. Deshalb, bitten wir das wenn ihr Ideen für Veranstaltungen, Workshops, Kurse oder irgendwas anderes habt, sag uns bescheid, damit wir neuen Lebendigkeit in den Teehaus für den restlichen Zeit hier herbringen können. Das Ort ist für alle zur Nützung verfügbar, solange die kein Geldprofit für sich selber verdienen möchten, und ihre Dienste auf einen Umsonst- oder Spendenbasis anbieten.

Wir sind natürlich auch immer zufrieden, Hilfe beim Vokü kochen oder Thekeschichten zu erhalten.

Jeder, der hier arbeitet oder einen Beitrag leistet, tut dies auf einen unbezahlten Basis. Alles Geld, dass durch das Projekt erworben wird, geht in Richtung unser Kostendeckung. Jedes Extrageld, dass erworben wird geht in Richtung anderer Projekte, die von dem Leuten, die hier einbezogen sind, organisiert werden.

Zusätzlich, wegen vorherigen Nachbarnstörungen, durfen wir kein Events mit Live Musik oder anderen lautes Geräusch veranstalten.

Zuletzt, wir werden in der nächsten Zeit viele Sachen, die von anderen hier gelassen wurden, ausräumen. Wenn ihr die Siebensachen hier gelassen habt, bitte holt sie ab, oder sagt uns Bescheid, innerhalb der nächsten Woche (also bis zum Montag 22. März), alles was nicht ausgeräumt sein sollten.

Hier, schließlich, ist unseren gegenwärtiges Eventsprogramm:

Dear friends of the teahouse,

Contrary to what many of you may have heard, the teahouse project at Rigaer Strasse 105 is still alive and well. It's true that we are looking to find someone else to move in, so that we can move out. However, until that time, the teahouse will still be rolling on, possibly even until the end of October, when our contract ends.

So, we have two requests for all of you out there.

First, if you are looking for rooms for rent and are interested in taking over ours, please get in touch with this e-mail address (rigaer105@gmail.com). Feel free also to pass on our details to anyone else you know who may be interested. The rooms are 154m² in total (floor plan attached). Further details will be provided on request.

Secondly, Rigaer 105 has always attempted to be an open space for people to come and get involved, share their knowledge and ideas and have the opportunity, by taking part in the space, to become a part of it. Therefore, we'd like to ask any of you who have ideas for events, workshops, classes or anything else to get in contact, so that we can breathe some renewed life into the space and make our remaining time here active and enjoyable. The space is free for anyone to use, on condition that they do not seek to make a profit for themselves and provide their services on a free or by donation basis.

We are also always happy to receive assistance with cooking Vokü or doing tea/bar shifts.

Everyone who works or contributes here does so on an unpaid basis. All money earned by the project goes towards meeting our running costs. Any extra money earned will go towards other projects organised by the people involved here.

Also, due to previous neighbour noise complaints, we cannot organise any events involving live music or other overly loud noise.

Additionally, we are planning a clearout of a lot of the stuff that's accumulated here over time, so if any of you on the mailing list have ever left any of your belongings here, please collect them or contact us to say what should be kept, before next Monday, 22nd March.
